Country and pop music came together last night at the 2011 Grammy Nominations Concert. Lady Gaga was joined by Sugarland for a performance of Gaga’s “You And I.” I was a little skeptical when I heard about the performance, but after watching it, the whole thing worked. Jennifer and Gaga’s voices played great off of each other.

The 2011 Grammy Nominations concert aired last night on CBS, and country is well represented again this year. Jason Aldean is up for three, Taylor Swift too; both will go head to head in the Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Album categories.
Additionally, Blake Shelton and Kenny Chesney are each up for two big awards. Plus, The Band Perry could walk away with the Best New Artist Grammy.
